Children on the Border Need Care, Kindness & Healing
I am sure that most of you have seen the explosion of articles on this. I would hope that those who can go and help will, those can donate will too and I hope that there are many, many kind & caring volunteers helping those tens of thousands of children. I would hope that if my child was forced to flee brutal violence and poverty alone that wherever she or he landed there would be many loving, caring kind people to help them heal and live and grow…
Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.

Leah, How are you? Still showing servant leadership as usual, which is why I admire you. I would seriously foster some of those kids until their families are located, and I’m sure I’m not alone. I wonder if we get “certified” or somehow checked out through local foster care channels, if we could get on a list of families who can provide safe, appropriate care indefinitely. Do you know if there are any nonprofits taking up this kind of “connecting kids to safe foster families” work? S

    1. Hi Sarah, I wrote to to learn if they know of any CBOs that are working to facilitate rapid placement for these young children. Will let you know what I hear. Take good care.
